School policy states that parents must have an ID badge in order to pick up their child or have signed in at the front office. Students: Remember to always follow the school dress code. Please bring water bottles as the temperatures are rising. Make sure you are following all of the rules when you are on the playground. Spalding/Spelling: Students are expected to use neat Spalding handwriting in all subjects. Practice your spelling words. The words are getting more difficult. Reading: We will read “The Peacemaker”, “Black Beauty”, “Rolf’s Leap”, and “Greek Gods”. Language/Grammar: We will continue to learn how to diagram sentences & we will review past concepts. Math: We will learn about multiplying mixed numbers, tessellations, and Roman numerals. Science: We will continue our unit on the Solar System. There will be a space test on Friday, May 17th. History: We will finish our unit on maps. We will then begin a small unit on World Mountains.
