Planners: Remember, planners must be signed every night. This is considered a homework assignment. We’re still in school & students must get all homework done or a 65% will be assigned or a 0 if not finished in Opportunity Club. Please remember that these last few weeks are important. Parents: Please remember to always wear your ID badge while on campus. School policy states that parents must have an ID badge in order to pick up their child or have signed in at the front office. Students: Remember to always follow the school dress code. Please bring water bottles as the temperatures are rising. Make sure you are following all of the rules when you are on the playground. Spalding/Spelling: Students are expected to use neat Spalding handwriting in all subjects. The final spelling test will be on May 18th. Reading: We will be reading The Peacemaker, Black Beauty’s Midnight Ride, Rolf’s Leap, The Greek Gods, Arachne, The Apple of Discord & the Mischief It Caused, and How Theseus Lifted the Stone. Language/Grammar: We will continue reviewing various lessons in the grammar book. Math: We will be reviewing various math concepts that we have learned throughout the year. Science: We will be finishing our unit on space and taking a test on Friday, May 18th. We will also be completing a circular book recording the facts about each planet in our solar system. History: We will finish Unit 4 in our new Arizona books. We will then work on Arizona government in our old Arizona books. All the fourth grade teachers would like to thank you for collaborating with us in making this a successful year for your child. Thank you so much for all of your hard work & efforts in grading, helping at parties & various activities & for chaperoning on our field trip. We truly appreciate you! Have a wonderful summer vacation!
