Please remember, 4th graders get a lunch break on ½ days. Please send a lunch, snack, or note that your student is eating at home. Students who do not have a lunch, snack, or note & are unsure if they are eating at home will receive a PB&J slip.

Book report packets have been sent home.
Planners: Remember, planners must be signed every night. This is considered a homework assignment. Parents: Please remember to always wear your ID badge while on campus. School policy states that parents must have an ID badge in order to pick up their child. Students: Remember to always complete your homework on time. Late work can be marked down to a 65%. Spalding/Spelling: Students are expected to use neat Spalding cursive handwriting in all subjects. Reading: We are starting our first novel Little House in the Big Woods. Language/Grammar: We will learn about adjectives. We will have an adjective quiz Thursday. Math: Students must know their multiplication facts. We will practice word problems about elapsed time. We will divide numbers and classify triangles. Science: We will be learning about ecosystems. We will talk about the parts of an ecosystem and living things in an ecosystem. History: We will finish Unit 2 & introduce Unit 3.
Student grades are accessible through your family link account. Please check your child’s grades regularly.
Before school math tutoring will start Thursday, November 1st. Students need to arrive to the classroom by 7:30AM if they are participating in math tutoring. Tutoring dates will be announced in the weekly newsletters.
